Music Box is a 30 minute program for Nursery Schools and Daycare that includes:

• Songs
• Exploration of instruments and rhythm
• Exploration of movement
• Storytelling
• Imagination
• Group activities

Music Box is a fun and easy introduction for children to experience music and develop musical skills. The program encourages verbal and physical development, as well as listening skills and self confidence.

It would be terribly wrong for me not to mention the children's favorite part of the program, "Buster" my puppet helper. The children always leave the class singing songs that we have learned and talking about, "what Buster did today."

The cost for the program is determined by the number of children participating and the amount of classes per day. If you choose to begin the Music Box program, all materials and instruments are provided and approved by the Kindermusik foundation. Some of the instruments and materials I provide are:

• Egg shakers
• Bells
• Sand scrapers
• Colored scarves
• Hula hoops
• Triangles
• Drums
• Rhythm sticks
• Gymnastic ribbons

I have been teaching Music Box for 7 years at St. Philips Nursery School, I must admit it is my favorite Kindermusik program to teach. I have also taught the program at, YMCA college st., Temple Sinai Daycare/nursery school, St. Catharine's Nursery and St. Barnabas Nursery schools.
